【my（holiday及英语作文）】Last summer, I had a wonderful holiday that I will never forget. It was the first time I traveled alone, and it gave me a lot of new experiences.

I went to Hangzhou with my classmates. We stayed there for five days. The weather was nice, and the city was very beautiful. There were many old buildings and modern shops. I visited West Lake, which is one of the most famous places in Hangzhou. I took a boat ride on the lake and enjoyed the scenery around it. The water was clear, and the trees were green. It felt like being in a painting.

During the day, we explored different parts of the city. We tried local foods like tea dumplings and sweet rice cakes. They were delicious! In the evening, we walked along the streets and saw many lights. It was a peaceful and quiet place.

What I liked most was the freedom of traveling by myself. I learned how to make decisions and solve problems. Sometimes, I got lost, but I asked people for help and found my way. This made me more confident.
